If you ask me, milk is the most underrated commodity. There was a time when no advertisements were done to captivate the attention of customers. However, with the passage of time, brands realized the potential in this segment and began marketing their milk as the most important commodity in a man’s life. Though everyone recognized this fact already in their subconscious mind, banded milk advertisements made loud and clear statements to reinstate the fact strongly. Having said that, each brand came up with their own USP to attract consumers.
Among all this, Nurpur positioned itself as a brand that it true to its “promise” of providing pure milk to the customers. And trust me, never did once they do mention it in their TVC. In fact, the TVC uses an undertone to communicate the message. There are no dialogues involved and the soothing music takes you back to imagining your own family life. To create an emotional connection, there are two cute children who are helping their mom in the kitchen. Sounds familiar, eh? Yes, because admit it or not, we all have tried doing it at some point in our lives. It shows a traditional morning routine of a happy family who is enjoying the most important meal of the day i.e. breakfast. The close up shots of food, tempting sights and whiteness of the milk that is highlighted again and again is a reminder of how pure is their main band attribute.
This is not the first time Nurpur has come up with such an aesthetically pleasant TVC that resonates in our minds. I clearly remember how I used to wait for their brilliant TVC right before Sehri time last Ramzan. I think that was the first ad after the rebranding and repositioning of the brand. I am glad the brand has not lost the tack and is still keeping its uniqueness intact with this new TVC. Definitely looking forward to what they have to offer next!

Milk and mornings have always been boring for me. Why you ask? Because what’s the charm in it? For a change, I decided to experiment with different breakfast ideas to keep myself entertained and energized throughout the day since breakfast is considered to be the most important meal of the day.
It was just a few months ago that LMKT announced they have won the contract to establish a revolutionary set up National Incubation Centre, Karachi. The center is said to be a state of the art facility that will be equipped with the latest technological equipment to facilitate users. The company will not only design but operate the center as well which is being constructed in collaboration with PTCL, HBL and PPAF.

Those living in Karachi, know how to love this city. They try to do whatever they can to preserve the beauty this city holds. They deploy art and plant exhibitions to show their love. This time around, the citizens went on to next level by reusing the cable reels.
The campaign was sponsored by Pakistan Cables in collaboration with Karachi Biennale Trust (KBT). The public outreach project invited designers, artists and architectures to transform the reels with their drawings. They worked on sites across Karachi and engaged local community to convey their messages.

I was watching my favorite TV drama with my one year on my lap when during a commercial, break something caught my attention, that was the new Rooh Afza ad. It got me hooked to the screen till the last second of the commercial because the story of father and daughter shown in the TVC is so compelling and relatable for me. It left me speechless and I started wondering if this is the same company that talked about the same product usage in their ad for decades. Indeed a new and fresh approach.

Last week I happened to go to a Bloggers’ Meet up which was about the launch of a new app called ‘Tapmad’. For which, I had to miss out on my favorite drama and on my way I couldn’t help but thinking about catching up the episode on YouTube later that night. Little did I know at that point that I am going to get a permanent solution to watching TV while on the go!
If you ask me, I am one of the most unsatisfied smartphone customers (blame my excess usage of social media apps and online reading habit for it). Anyways, so, ever since I have been deprived of my Samasung Galaxy S3 on gun point, a.k.a mobile snatching, my life has been terribly miserable. I couldn’t find a single smartphone that can work effectively without getting hung or confused at what I am commanding them. LOL.
Jokes apart, one day when my Huawei P8 Lite completely refused to start and did not cooperate, I was forced to search about the best phones I can get in the most reasonable price. Though some of these brands are available locally through black market, I usually prefer going for brands that are officially available in Pakistan.
Cutting the long story short, out of four best phones that I came across, two of them aren’t available in Pakistan yet. Sigh and sobs!
How I wish these brands were available in this part of the world as well (I hope so they will think about it soon)
