FoodPanda iDonate Campaign – Because #FoodPandaCares

iDonate-1200x627-1FoodPanda has taken digital marketing to a whole new level with the launch of its recent ‘FoodPanda iDonate’ campaign. The unique and innovative campaign revolves around the idea of feeding the underprivileged during the month of Ramzan which is otherwise known as the #MonthofBlessings. This campaign invites people to interact with the food giant on social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter to generate donations. For every interaction, FoodPanda will be donating a certain amount to Edhi Foundation and Saylani Welfare Trust.

How FoodPanda iDonate Works

All you have to do is visit FoodPanda’s Facebook and Twitter pages. There they have a list of all staple items some people just cannot afford due to monetary constraints and are compelled to starve. You can select from these items the ones you would like to donate to your brothers and sisters. Once you have the name in your mind, just write it in the comment section below or tweet about it. FoodPanda will then donate the amount of this item to the two NGOs on your behalf.

The staple items available for voting are:

  1. Rice
    B. Daal
    C. Flour
    D. Sugar

The most surprising thing for me in this campaign is the fact that it is a hardcore digital campaign. You do not have to order in something using FoodPanda’s website or app. Also, they are not asking you to subscribe to any offers. All they are asking you is to visit their Facebook and Twitter pages and cast your vote.

FoodPanda has done its part by creating a platform for us to fight the hunger crisis in our society. Now it is our turn to make a difference with our votes. It is not that difficult after all. Just a comment and you are done! So, what are you waiting for? Comment on FoodPanda’s iDonate campaign now because #FoodPandaCares and we too, right?

I wish FoodPanda all the best for this campaign!
